Our cherished tradition, now in its 21st year, begins with the time-honored Blessing of the Grapes. This heartfelt ceremony honors our historic vineyards, the dedication of owners Louis Lucas and Mike Lewellen, and the hard work of winemaker Megan McGrath Gates, the vineyard crews, and our extended winery family, giving thanks for the bounty of the season.

Following the blessing, savor our most premium wines including library selections and high-end bottlings like the Judge’s Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, barrel tastings, a harvest process demonstration by Megan and her crew (if the grapes are crushing - time will tell!), special wine-paired bites, and Bobby and his talented crew, a staple of our harvest festivities. Wine Club Member Benefits:

Entry: $5/person (2 admissions per Wine Club account). This nominal fee supports our small, family-owned winery in today’s challenging wine industry and will not be charged if a purchase is made.
Additional Memberships: Members of both Lucas & Lewellen and Toccata receive 4 admissions ($5/person fee, waived if a purchase is made). Members of Lucas & Lewellen, Toccata, and Owners Select receive 6 admissions ($5/person, waived if a purchase is made).
Non-Member Guests: $55 per guest (no purchase credit).
Owners Select members will be invited separately to spend some personal time with Louis Lucas. Check with Anjie for details.

At this time of year, it can be very hot and the sun blares into the parking lot and winds can't take the umbrellas in most years! Prepare with hats and sunscreens, or plan to hang out inside the building. Also please note, this event is not in our vineyards. One day it will be but for now, we celebrate at our industrial working winery and gather inside and in the parking lot. For more of a vineyard experience, check our Vineyard Tour in September.
